Monitoring for APACHE SPARK®

Losing sleep over your (Apache Spark) job?

Receive instant notifications from AlertPro

Apache Spark LogoEvery Apache Spark® user knows the feeling of submitting an application and then wondering what’s happened to it. The feeling of repeatedly checking the Spark Master or History Server UIs to see if the application is scheduled yet, or is still running, or has finally returned the results that you urgently need. Or even getting up on the middle of the night to see if that crucial streaming job is still going. If you need more visibility into what’s happening with your applications, AlertPro for Apache Spark® is designed for you.

AlertPro from AlertPlane actively monitors the state of batch and streaming applications running on YARN, Kubernetes, Spark Standalone or Google Dataproc, and sends start, completion and  failure notifications and driver output to your chosen list of email addresses, phone numbers and Slack channels.

Watch our Quickstart Guide video below to see how quickly you can start receiving proactive notifications on your Apache Spark applications by using AlertPro from AlertPlane!

Configure alerting for each application

When AlertPro for Apache Spark® is enabled on your Apache Spark® cluster, users can set the spark.hadoop.AlertPlane property on any application they submit. Important task completions, job success and failure events are immediately notified to the specified email, Slack and SMS endpoints (subject to user opt-in by response to an initial verification message). Save hours of wasted time caused by not knowing that critical jobs have failed or completed when you’re engaged in other work.
